Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) contributes to sustainable development by delivering economic, social and environmental benefits for all stakeholders. It build bridges between the business and community sectors that enable businesses to support social issues and interests.

The challenge is often to find a balance between making positive impact and leveraging these practices to benefit business, as well as, the community and its constituents. This six-hour deep-dive training uses a mix of theory, tools, principles, case studies, and practical work that allows for active learning and practical tools to take back to the office.

This course is designed for organizations, professionals and individuals interested in deepening their CSR understanding and applying their knowledge to their work. Participation in this hands-on workshop will empower you to design, develop and execute a CSR strategy.

About the Trainer

Nicole Malick- International Social Worker & CSR Trainer

Nicole is an international social worker recognized for her ability to effectively design and lead programs that address corporate sustainability, gender equality, peace building, and human trafficking. Nicole’s fourteen years of international experience, spans the Middle East, Asia, and East Africa with governments, civil society organizations and multi-national companies, most notably as a U.S. diplomat, with the Dubai Land Department and with Her Royal Highness Princes Basma’s youth centers.

She has sat on numerous boards focused on sustainability, women’s empowerment and public health. Nicole is a recipient of two US Agency for International Development Meritorious Honors Awards, a U.S. Department of State Meritorious Group Award, and received a service medal from the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) for her work in Afghanistan.

She was nominated as an official Mentor for the National Network for Social Work Management for her commitment to international social work. She has facilitated numerous trainings on corporate social responsibly in the UAE and USA and is currently consultant with international social impact ventures. She is also a visiting lecturer at Middlesex University Dubai, Law and Politics Program.
